Below you will find some of our clinic's policies.

Payment

  • Payment is required at time of service.
  • If a patient is hospitalized, payment will be taken in full amount of estimate.
  • If hospitalized stay extends beyond what was expected, a new estimate will be made, and payment will be taken.
  • When patient is discharged, payment for any outstanding balance is required in full.
  • If refund is due, payment will be issued in same way as payment was made.
  • We will be happy to help with any pet insurance forms you have.
  • We now have a non-refundable down payment due at the time of scheduling a surgical appointment.
The non-refundable fee is $39.95 and clients get one cancellation with a reschedule with that one fee.

Payment Methods

  • We accept cash, check, American Express, Discover, Mastercard, Visa and Care Credit.  There will be a 2.5% surcharge for credit card transactions.
  • Care Credit is a medical credit card that can be applied for. This is used just like a normal credit card with a minimum payment due each month.
  • Care Credit determines approval within a few minutes. There is no annual fee. Care Credit offers interest free payments for 6 months so long as the balance is paid in full by the end of the promotion period.

Visiting/Patient Updates

  • We encourage our clients to visit during hospitalization.  Please call and schedule a time for visitation.
  • Visiting of the patient will occur in an exam room.
  • Clients are welcome to call at any time for updates on the patient.  After a procedure or surgery, a veterinary technician will call with an update when patient is in recovery.

Medication

  • We ask a minimum of 12 hours for medication refills.
  • Per the FDA we cannot accept medication returns back to the clinic.

Personal Belongings

We understand a majority of the patients have blankies, bed or toys that are special to them. We encourage you to bring these items for the patient. However, due to the nature of the clinic, these items tend to get lost in the massive amounts of laundry the clinic sees. Therefore, these items might not be returned during discharge. If the item is irreplaceable it is best to leave the item at home.

Please reach out to us if you have any questions.
